This is the most iconic vehicle we have ever built. This one that started it all. This is Scott’s (DHC Owner’s) personal crawler. After the evolution of building this Jeep, he went to Moab on full width ½ ton axles and 37” tires and tried to conquer the toughest trails. As expected, Moab was wonderful, but the Jeep left a lot of be expected. In his garage with Teola (DHC’s General Manager), before Dark Horse Customs was even a thought in their minds, they started building this Jeep. Scott bought a welder, plasma cutter, a tubing bender, a drill press and a few other tools, ant the two just started building. It took a few years to get it on the road, but since 2009, this Jeep has tackled some of the most treacherous trails in the country. He has broken many parts and rolled it every which way possible. But, the Jeep gets fixed and reengineered almost every time it comes back from a run. It has survived the worst, and even though it is of older technology and fabrication work that isn’t even close to being on par with what comes out of DHC nowadays, it has proudly represented the beginning of Dark Horse Customs for many years.
